Selected excerpts from the official docs:

Welcome to Votium

This is the official source of info for everything regarding the Votium platform.

Additional signals from the source:

  • The docs are the clearest primary-source surface for Votium; the project explains itself through workflow documentation rather than a traditional whitepaper
  • The table of contents exposes a split between buyer, voter, and FAQ flows, which already suggests a two-sided governance-incentive marketplace

2) “How It Works” docs

Source: https://docs.votium.app/general-information/the-auction

Selected excerpts from the official docs:

Delegators who wish for Votium to vote for them are only required to delegate their votes once and will have their share registered on all future incentives.

Buyers select their token to pay with, the amount to pay & which pool they would like the users to vote for.

Votium votes on behalf of their delegators, and confirms the number of vlCVX (including undelegated vlCVX) votes cast on the buyer’s behalf.

The incentive is distributed among the voters via an airdrop.

Additional signals from the source:

  • This page makes the core mechanism explicit: Votium is matching incentive buyers with governance voters and then settling payouts against observed vote direction
  • The once-only delegation design means Votium can accumulate durable routing power over repeated future rounds

3) Quickstart guide

Source: https://docs.votium.app/explainers/quickstart-guide

Selected excerpts from the official docs:

Lock your CVX for 16 weeks on Convex.

Delegate to Votium via the delegate button on the Votium website.

Votium will vote on several incentivized pools for you and you won’t have to do anything to receive incentives.

Delegating is NOT mandatory.

Additional signals from the source:

  • Votium is explicitly downstream of Convex’s vlCVX system; it does not create governance power so much as organize and monetize it
  • The docs emphasize that delegation and manual voting coexist, which means Votium is a router layered atop an existing governance venue rather than an exclusive intermediary

4) Voter manual

Source: https://docs.votium.app/explainers/voter-manual

Selected excerpts from the official docs:

To be eligible for a reward, you can either delegate your vlCVX to Votium, and we will do the optimized voting for you, or vote by yourself for a buyer’s selected pool on the Convex vote page.

You can still vote manually after you’ve delegated to Votium.

The rewards for both veCRV and vlCVX will be available for claim biweekly

Additional signals from the source:

  • The “optimized voting” language confirms that Votium is not a passive rewards directory; it is an active vote-routing service for delegated power
  • Claim timing and delegation behavior matter because they make bribing markets operationally routine rather than ad hoc

5) Buyer manual

Source: https://docs.votium.app/explainers/briber-manual

Selected excerpts from the official docs:

To deposit an incentive for vlCVX

Select the number of rounds you wish your deposit will be active for

OPTIONAL: You can also set a maximum number of tokens to pay for each vlCVX.

You may increase the number of tokens offered

If an incentive has a max payout per vlCVX designated, and the entire reward is not consumed, the remainder of the reward will continue as a new incentive in the following round.

For veCRV deposits, Convex’s veCRV votes will not be counted to avoid “double dipping”.

Additional signals from the source:

  • Votium’s buyer-side tools are surprisingly market-like: buyers can choose duration, cap price per vote, increase bids, and roll incentives forward
  • The “double dipping” rule is a strong sign that Votium is operating in a layered governance stack where multiple aggregation layers could otherwise claim the same control surface

6) vlCVX FAQ

Source: https://docs.votium.app/faq/vlcvx-faq

Selected excerpts from the official docs:

Votium rounds are live when the Convex gauge vote proposals are live, bi-weekly, on Thursday 00:00 UTC until Tuesday 00:00 UTC.

Votium will try to vote optimally for delegators, so that they would receive the best possible return for their votes.

5% of Votium’s delegation power will be used to vote for the cvxCRV pool.

You only have to delegate again if you choose to remove your delegation through the Snapshot site.

Additional signals from the source:

  • The FAQ makes clear that Votium is synchronized to Convex’s recurring governance windows, which helps explain how bribing markets become a standing schedule instead of sporadic events
  • The documented cvxCRV allocation rule suggests Votium has its own embedded policy choices, not just neutral order-matching behavior

Notes

  • Votium appears best cataloged as governance-incentive marketplace / vote-bribing infrastructure / delegation-and-distribution layer.
  • The strongest sources were the “How It Works,” quickstart, buyer manual, voter manual, and vlCVX FAQ pages.
  • No canonical standalone whitepaper or litepaper surfaced in this pass.
