Access note

  • The governance-contract README links to a Google Docs governance whitepaper, but it was not accessible without sign-in during this pass. I therefore anchored the entry on the accessible official docs plus public repositories instead of citing gated material.

Takeaway for corpus use

InsureDAO is especially useful because it mixes three control surfaces that are often treated separately:

  1. segmented underwriting markets (single pools and index pools),
  2. AMM-like utilization pricing,
  3. and Curve-style vote-lock governance with a separate payout-reporting layer.

That makes it a strong contrast class against mutual-wide systems like Nexus Mutual, discretionary claims marketplaces like Bridge Mutual, and protocol-local safety modules like Cozy Finance.
