- Official CAIP draft page for JSON-RPC Provider Session Lifecycle Management with CAIP-25 Sessions BCP
- Key points used: status Draft; requires CAIP-25 / 217 / 285 / 311 / 312; session-lifecycle equivalence chart; explicit comparison of flows with and without
sessionId; recommendation for domain-bound or 1:1 transports; privacy concern around unauthorized access or session hijacking

- Raw source text from the canonical CAIPs repository
- Used to confirm the exact wording around loosened
sessionIdrequirements, wallet-managed state in no-identifier mode, and the linked lifecycle methods

Notes
- CAIP-316 is more useful as an implementation and control-surface document than as a standalone mechanism paper. The interesting question is who becomes the source of truth for session state under different transport assumptions.
- The analytically important move is not just “session management exists”; it is that a wallet can keep the whole lifecycle legible even when the caller is not expected to persist a session identifier.
