• CAIP-294 is best treated as transport plumbing for browser-extension wallets rather than as a wallet capability standard.
• The analytically interesting control surface is channel selection: when the wallet advertises an extension target, the draft tries to decide whether communication should continue through injected-provider patterns or switch to extension messaging APIs.
