- CAIP-282 is still Draft, so the practical question is less current adoption and more what control surface it is trying to standardize: chain-agnostic browser wallet discovery plus early capability disclosure.
- The proposal is analytically useful as a comparison class for EIP-6963 because it pushes the same anti-load-order / anti-lock-in instinct outward from Ethereum into a broader chain-agnostic wallet stack.
