- Official high-level protocol introduction
- Used to confirm the proposer-commitment framing, sub-second preconfirmation goal, out-of-protocol design, optimistic-failure model, and the split between commitments API and constraints API

- Canonical repository
- Used to confirm the implemented component map across sidecar, contracts, bolt-boost module, external relay / builder forks, and devnet scaffolding

- Raw repository README
- Used to confirm the seven-step technical flow, MEV-Boost compatibility, self-build fallback path, and the practical proof-of-concept framing
Notes
- Bolt’s core mechanism is not just “faster confirmations.” It is a new constraints-and-proof layer inserted into the PBS supply chain so proposers can make externally visible promises about inclusion.
- The most interesting control surfaces are who can submit constraints, how delegation works, who verifies inclusion proofs, and what happens when relay responses fail validation.
- The out-of-protocol / optimistic-failure model matters because enforcement comes from economic penalties and dispute resolution rather than from consensus-native validity rules.
- This entry belongs in the corpus because it cleanly exposes how preconfirmation systems may reallocate authority across proposers, relays, builders, delegated agents, and restaking-backed slashing layers.
