Notes
- BOB Hybrid Nodes clear the intake bar because they expose the operator-admission layer inside a Bitcoin-hybrid stack instead of flattening everything into one generic
BTC L2label. - The strongest reusable mechanism is delegation-ranked scarcity: BOB says some infrastructure roles cannot scale to arbitrarily many operators, so delegated BOB stake becomes the mechanism for limiting and prioritizing providers.
- The most useful control-plane split is across the four role families BOB documents: BitVM operators, Bitcoin finality providers, block builders, and gateway solvers. Keeping those separate is more analytically useful than treating them as one generic node set.
- The rollout is still partly aspirational. The strongest corpus value today is not operational decentralization claims but the way BOB’s documents make the planned operator market legible.
